PTASP Gap Analysis
As the FTA’s deadline for Public Transportation Agency Safety Plans (PTASP) drew near, our client, a small transit agency, realized they needed outside help to complete the plan.
The Challenge
Our client was concerned that they did not have adequate resources to create the plan by the deadline and were also were unsure to what extent the requirements applied to them.
What Was At Stake
Like most agencies, this our client receives significant funding from the FTA to operate their transit system. They knew if their PTASP was not in place by the deadline their funding was at risk.
The Solution
OTB Solutions partners with K&J Consulting to lead a gap analysis for our client. The gap analysis was facilitated by skilled leaders with input from key stakeholders from each of the business owners. It results in a detailed gap analysis report back to the agency.
Results
Based on our gap analysis, the agency was able to develop consensus among its key business stakeholders on where to focus their efforts in creating their PTASP.
